The debut full length from American artist Shores of Melancholy is entitled The Withering. Shores of Melancholy plays an atmospheric style of black metal with a depressive slant while lyrically focusing on the decay of humanity. The Withering relishes suffering and the plight of life through seven tracks of joyless decadence. As a bonus for the first pressing, two additional tracks are included from a different recording session.
