“I wrote and recorded this album when I was like 18 years old in an old stable which we used as a rehearsal room these days. I recorded and mixed everything on my own, with a little help from my friends. This means the sound is very raw and dashing. This album is far away from perfect, but ten years later it still means a lot to me, since it was the first real album I created as a musician and also portrays the teenage angst and aspirations I had in this period of my life. And furthermore I think it already expresses the musical direction the band will pursue in the following years, which makes this album the so called gateway in the bands history.”
